91���� at Marion, Harding Presidential Sites, and Ohio History Connection have partnered to bring history to life through the eyes of presidential scholars and experts as the 2025 Warren G. Harding Presidential explores Politics at the Doorstep: Presidential Front Porch Campaigns, July 18-19, 2025.

With approximately 61% of Americans taking at least one prescription medication and 27% taking 4 or more prescriptions in 2025, 91���� at Marion lecture series Buckeye Talks on Tap will take an in depth look at the history and development of drugs. 91���� Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry Ryan Yoder will present a free community lecture entitled “The Evolution of Drug Design: From Remedies to Rationality,” Tuesday, July 8, 5:30 p.m. at Bucci’s Italian Scratch Kitchen.

MARION, Ohio (WSYX) — Tucked away at the Larry R. Yoder Prairie Learning Laboratory on the 91���� University Marion campus are two beehives that are making a big impact. Marine veterans Eric Bailey and Todd Lee introduced the hives to the prairie to educate others and connect with fellow veterans in the community.

91���� at Marion lecture series Buckeye Talks on Tap welcomes Director of 91���� Ohio Sea Grant and Stone Laboratory, Christopher Winslow, Ph.D. Tuesday, June 10, 5:30 p.m. to Bucci’s Italian Scratch Kitchen for a lecture entitled “The State of Lake Erie:  Nutrients and Harmful Algal Blooms.”

91���� Marion engineering faculty were among ten university-wide recipients of a $10,000 University Outreach and Engagement Documenting Impact Grant to support science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) outreach efforts in grades K–12 across Marion and surrounding counties during the 2025–26 academic year.

A group of 17 Taft Elementary fourth and fifth graders got the opportunity to experience the Larry R. Yoder Prairie Learning Laboratory and the art exhibit Sustainability Stories first-hand during a visit to 91���� Marion on May 12th.

Golrokh Mirzaei, associate professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in the College of Engineering, has been awarded a 2025-2026 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award to Austria to research “Predictive Modeling of Glioblastoma Using Machine Learning and Imaging-Genomic Associations.”
