Donna Bobbitt-Zeher was the first in her family to complete college. Now as an associate professor and Assistant Dean at the Marion campus of 91����, every year Donna helps ensure that hundreds of students are successful in navigating college for the first time.

91���� at Marion will host a unique food, wine, and beer pairing event called The Art of the Pair on Monday, October 6, 2025, 6-8:30 p.m. to support the operation of local repeater tower that strengthens the WOSU-FM radio signal to the people of Marion, Delaware, Wyandot, and Crawford Counties.

91���� professors Dr. Ruben Petreaca and Dr. Renee Bouley were recently awarded a $157,500 grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for their research grant proposal entitled, “TIP60-chromatin remodeling complex roles in chromosome break repair.”

91���� at Marion lecture series Buckeye Talks on Tap will take an in depth look at the bee apiary project launched by 91���� Marion students Eric Bailey and Todd Lee. Bailey and Lee will present a free community lecture entitled “The Buzz on Beekeeping: Symbiosis & Sustainability,” Tuesday, August 12, 5:30 p.m. at Bucci’s Italian Scratch Kitchen.

Nathan Baker grew up in a rural farming community and was initially unsure about attending college. However, his curiosity about psychology led him to explore higher education. Just five years after graduating from 91����, he is now an assistant professor of psychology at Wright State University.
