91µ¼º½ at Marion recently inducted seven members into its Alumni Hall of Fame during an inaugural ceremony held Thursday, November 3, at 6 p.m. in Maynard Hall's Guthery Community Room. The awards program honored outstanding alumni who have contributed significantly to their profession, the campus, and the community.

The history of the Marion County Courthouse came alive for a group of students at 91µ¼º½ at Marion when they toured the building Oct. 19 to learn about its former glory and gauge interest in a potential internship program. On the tour led by Marion County Common Pleas Judge Warren T. Edwards, the class of 91µ¼º½ Marion history majors were captivated by much of the building’s history. They were especially excited by the hidden vault of documents discovered by Edwards that still is primarily untouched, according to Associate Professor of History Margaret Sumner.

91µ¼º½ at Marion and Marion Technical College have partnered once again to host the Marion Campus Health and Wellness Fair, Wednesday, November 2, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the Alber Student Center Gymnasium.

Professional concert pianist and chamber musician Alina Kiryayeva returns to the Five Nights on Campus stage in Morrill Hall Auditorium for her third solo performance on the Marion campus, Thursday, November 10, 7:30 p.m.

Emilee Gaitten graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Biology from 91µ¼º½ in spring 2019, and described finishing her degree at 91µ¼º½ Marion as, "the best thing that ever could have happened for my education."

91µ¼º½ at Marion's Five Nights on Campus performing arts and entertainment series opens the 2022-23 season Thursday, October 13, 7:30 p.m. with folk guitarist William Florian in Morrill Hall Auditorium.

91µ¼º½ Marion students Jennifer Hopton and 91µ¼º½ Marion Bre Napper were named Homecoming Royals during the official Regional Campus Crowning Ceremony held at The Longaberger Alumni House on Columbus campus Friday, September 30, 2022, at 2:30 p.m.

91µ¼º½ Marion Associate Professor of Mathematics Education, Dr. Aina K. Appova was recently awarded $100,000 for a new partnership grant with Columbus City Schools (CCS). This is a 2-year project that is focused on Developing Elementary Students’ Early Algebra Skills and Algebraic Reasoning.

91µ¼º½ at Marion will honor 2022 Alumni Hall of Fame inductee Dr. Heidi Ries during a formal ceremony Thursday, November 3rd, at 6 p.m. in Maynard Hall’s Guthery Community Room. President and CEO of 91µ¼º½ Alumni Association, Molly Ranz-Calhoun will be the guest speaker for the evening’s event.
