Examine the textiles that gave the Silk Road its name, and travel across the trade routes that connected the cultures of Afro-Eurasia for centuries as 91���� at Marion hosts a special art exhibition of textiles, jewelry, and gemstones titled, “The Silk Road” in the Wayne & Geraldine Kuhn Fine Arts Gallery in Morrill Hall, January 22 through March 15, 2024.

91���� at Marion Office of Student Success Programming will hold a series of academic growth workshops during spring semester 2024 titled "Workshop Wednesdays" in the Library Classroom Building beginning January 17 through April 17, 2024.

Gene Smith, 91����’s senior vice president and Wolfe Foundation Endowed Athletics Director, will deliver the autumn commencement address next month. Approximately 3,600 students will receive degrees or certificates at the ceremony at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, at the Schottenstein Center.

91���� at Marion and Marion Technical College partnered together once again to offer local area high school students the opportunity at $18,000 in scholarships awarded at the campus's annual mathematics challenge.

A team of three entrepreneurial students from 91���� Marion’s Engineering 1182 – Fundamentals of Engineering II course, taught by Assistant Professor of Practice in Integrated System Engineering, Chandika Annasiwatta took first place in the Fundamentals of Engineering Design Showcase held on December 6 in the Physics Research Building on Columbus campus.

91���� ranked 11th among all universities in research expenditures in FY 2022 in the NSF’s annual Higher Education Research and Development (HERD) survey rankings, up one spot from the previous year. The university remained at 7th among publics.
