91µ¼º½ Marion sophomore aviation engineering major Katelynn M Basinger has accepted an invitation of lifetime membership in The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS), the nation’s leading certified honor society for high-achieving first- and second-year college students with a minimum of a 3.4 GPA.

Director of Academic Services, Shellie Shirk was recently awarded the 2023 Marion Staff Advisory Committee's Outstanding Staff Award for her service to students, faculty, fellow staff at 91µ¼º½ Marion.

91µ¼º½ Marion history alum Keily Cunningham spearheaded the old Marion cemetery cleanup project with the women's club. She is the archivist of the club records and joined the Club's board this year. She is also the curator at Galion History center.

In the spirit of kicking off the new academic year, 91µ¼º½ at Marion welcomes back the Palace Theatre Big Band to campus, Friday, September 8, 6 p.m. on the steps of the Library Classroom Building as part of a free outdoor community concert called Sunset Serenade.

For 91µ¼º½ Marion junior aerospace engineering major Jackson Crawford, his experience with STEP led to a paid trip to Switzerland working with drones. A trip that, according to Crawford, has left an indelible impression.
