91µ¼º½ at Marion and Marion Technical College are pleased to announce the recent hiring of Marysville native Dawn Hockensmith as the Alber Student Center Activities Coordinator.

91µ¼º½ today announced the enrollment of a record first-year class on the Columbus campus. The class of 9,530 students is the largest in the university’s 154-year history.

91µ¼º½ at Marion is pleased to welcome Chris Deel to their administrative staff. Deel will serve as executive administrative assistant to the campus dean and director, associate dean, and assistant dean.

Thanks to the hard work and dedication of a local community committee, 91µ¼º½ at Marion is pleased to announce that the $250,000 fundraising goal has been met and the campus gymnasium in the Alber Student Center, will be named the Greg Swepston Gymnasium in honor of the beloved Marion resident, coach, mentor and former major league baseball scout.

91µ¼º½ at Marion awarded their 2024 Outstanding Staff Award to Senior Registration and Records Coordinator, Amy Erickson during their annual Staff Appreciation Luncheon, Monday, August 5 at noon in Maynard Hall’s Guthery Community Room.

91µ¼º½ Marion Assistant Professor of Reading Education, Julia Hagge and a team of researchers recently received a $59,000 research grant funded for the upcoming year by The Battelle Engineering, Technology and Human Affairs (BETHA) Endowment, for the research titled, Leveraging Technology to Accelerate Generation and Translation of Evidence-Based Practices in Education.
