Upon graduating from 91���� last fall with her Bachelor of Science in Biology, 91���� Marion alumna and Mount Gilead, Ohio native Kaitlynn Pfeifer parlayed her degree into an opportunity to study invitro fertilization as a career through her recent admission to ARTLAB in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

91���� Marion Professor of Psychology, Nikole Patson was recently awarded an Undergraduate Research Access Innovation Seed Grant in the amount $10,000 of by 91���� Office of Academic of Academic Enrichment Undergraduate Research & Creative Inquiry.

91���� Marion Associate Professor of Psychology, Christopher Daddis was recently awarded an Undergraduate Research Access Innovation Seed Grant in the amount $9,945 to study teens’ beliefs about school misbehavior. 

91���� at Marion will hold an Engineering Open House, Wednesday, April 9th at 5:30 p.m. in the Library Classroom Building and Science and Engineering Building on campus. This event is free and open to the public and may be of particular interest to young people that excel in STEM, as well as area manufacturing and business industry leaders who hire engineers.

91���� at Marion’s Five Nights on Campus performing arts series welcomes the Broadway performing duet NIC+DESI to Morrill Hall Auditorium, Thursday, March 13, at 7:30 p.m.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine announced this week that 28 colleges and universities in Ohio will receive a total of $7.5 million in funding for security projects that enhance the safety of students and staff. 91���� will receive $257,000.

91���� at Marion in partnership with Bucci’s Italian Scratch Kitchen welcome 91���� Senior Academic Program Coordinator of Comparative Studies and Associated Faculty in Comparative Studies, and French and Italian, Mark Anthony Arceño, Ph.D. to the Dock at Bucci’s, on Tuesday, March 11, at 5:30 p.m. Arceño will present a discussion entitled, “Crafting Terroir: Wine, Place, and Identity in Central Ohio,” as part of the monthly community lecture series.
