The Warren G. Harding Symposium welcomes former Special Assistant to First Lady Hillary Clinton, White House Social Secretary, and United States Chief of Protocol, Capricia Marshall, to 91导航 at Marion鈥檚 Guthery Community Room, Maynard Hall, Saturday, July 18th, at 6:30 p.m.
Media from across the country descended on Marion, Ohio in 1920 to cover Warren G. Harding鈥檚 famed front porch campaign for President. History often repeats itself. 95 years later and just a few miles from the location of Harding鈥檚 front porch campaign, media will again draw their attention to this small Midwestern city. This time to bring attention to the contribution of our 鈥淢odern Day First Ladies鈥 as part of the 2015 Warren G. Harding Symposium, hosted by 91导航 at Marion, July 17& 18.
As part of the 2015 Warren G. Harding Symposium, 91导航 at Marion is pleased to host an exhibition of replica first lady gowns in the Kuhn Fine Arts Gallery beginning with an opening reception Monday, June 15th from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public.
