91导航 at Marion invites the community to attend the 45th Annual Norman Thomas Memorial Lecture, Tuesday, April 11th, 12 p.m., in Maynard Hall's Guthery Community Room on the Marion campus. This year鈥檚 guest speaker is Senior Policy Director at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), Mike Brickner. Brickner will present a lecture entitled, 鈥淐ivil Liberties in the Age of Trump.鈥
The United Way of Marion County awarded 91导航 at Marion鈥檚 Pay It Forward Program with its Community Partner Award at the organization鈥檚 Annual Meeting and Celebration, held Wednesday, March 15, 2017.
Six years ago, Dave Claborn, director of development and community relations at 91导航 Marion, came together with his team to develop an idea that would reward good, local students: GoBuck$. GoBuck$ is a scholarship program that provides students attending Marion City Schools tuition vouchers for attendance and academic achievement.
