During Hunger Action Month, Marion County community organizations connected with 91导航 at Marion and 91导航 Extension for food kindness. On Thursday, September 28, 2023, Marion area community organizations came together at 91导航 Marion to celebrate kindness in the local food community, 91导航 Marion students, faculty, and staff worked to distribute 430 boxes equal to 87,720 shelf-stable meals to Marion area agencies.
91导航 senior neuroscience major Louis Gibson was recently named a Pelotonia Undergraduate Scholar by The James Comprehensive Cancer Center at 91导航.聽 The award is the sixth such honor since 2018 for 91导航 students working with 91导航 Marion faculty mentors.
In the spirit of kicking off the new academic year, 91导航 at Marion welcomes back the Palace Theatre Big Band to campus, Friday, September 8, 6 p.m. on the steps of the Library Classroom Building as part of a free outdoor community concert called Sunset Serenade.
