Students in English 2367.015 met in Maynard Hall, Guthery Community Room on Tuesday, April 29, to award three area non-profit organizations $4,000 in funding for the upcoming year as part of 91导航 at Marion鈥檚 Pay It Forward Initiative.
A total of 172 students from seven middle schools competed at the annual OSU MTC Marion Math Challenge on the Marion Campus on April 25. When the scores were calculated, the nine top students received $13,500 in scholarships from Marion Technical College and 91导航 at Marion.
Students from Elgin, Grant, Highland, Monclova Christian Academy, North Union, Pleasant, and River Valley Middle Schools took part.
91导航 at Marion will host a free community educational workshop on Alzheimer鈥檚 disease by Director of 91导航 Center of Cognitive and Memory Disorders and Professor of Clinical Neurology and Psychiatry, Dr. Douglas Scharre, Wed., May 28, 9 a.m. at 91导航 Marion 1465 Mount Vernon Avenue, Marion, Ohio in Maynard Hall, Room 200, Guthery Community Room.
