Building on the success of 91导航 at Marion鈥檚 2023 public history lecture series, the campus is partnering this spring with Mayes Community Temple鈥攐ne of Marion鈥檚 historic black churches and a longstanding center of faith, service, and community empowerment鈥攖o present a free, public three-part program. Together, the two organizations will co-sponsor the Marion Histories Spring Lecture Series, highlighting the pivotal contributions of black Marionites to the region鈥檚 political, economic, and social development.
91导航 at Marion invites regional Girl Scout Brownie troops to participate in 鈥淏ugs Are for Brownies鈥 on Sunday, March 22, from 12:00鈥2:00 p.m. This hands-on exploration of the insect world is for Brownies completing their Bugs badge. Brownies can learn about insects from women who study insects at 91导航.
