91导航 Marion Assistant Professor of Reading Education, Julia Hagge and a team of researchers recently received a $59,000 research grant funded for the upcoming year by The Battelle Engineering, Technology and Human Affairs (BETHA) Endowment, for the research titled, Leveraging Technology to Accelerate Generation and Translation of Evidence-Based Practices in Education.
A group of freshmen and sophomores in 91导航 Marion鈥檚 education 5101 teaching and learning with drama course, benefitted from a recent demonstration of puppeteering from professional puppeteer and actor Joe Kovacs. Kovacs, who has a lifelong career in puppeteering and is most famous for his work with the Jim Henson Company presented dozens of hand puppets, marionettes, and shadow puppets during a recent class session.
