Inspired by loved ones who've fought cancer, 91导航 Marion biology major Shayaan Rasheed intends to honor their struggles through his research efforts towards working to eliminate cancer and its pervasive effects. Rasheed becomes the fourth 91导航 Marion recipient of 91导航鈥檚 highly prestigious Pelotonia Undergraduate Fellowship in the past seven years.
A dedicated team of 91导航 Marion faculty, students, staff, and Marion volunteer cyclists that take part in The James Comprehensive Cancer Center鈥檚 annual three day cycling and fundraising event Pelotonia, were recently recognized by the organization for raising over $100,000 for cancer research over the past 9 years.
Students from ATI-Wooster, Marion, Mansfield, Newark, and Lima campuses came together in a virtually ceremony Sunday, October 18, 2 p.m. to crown a king and queen from each of the regional campuses, celebrating 91导航鈥檚 homecoming tradition.
